My name is Dougee Dimensional and like all things that are groovy. I was born in the USA in Las Vegas , Nevada. My parents were performers in a variety of lounges in Vegas, however they decided to make the big break for Hollywood and moved the entire family to Los Angeles.

I started playing the trumpet when I was 8 years old and got heavily into the music of Henry Mancini. In my early teens, I discovered a few things about myself. One thing was that I was obsessed by television game shows. Some of my favorites were "The Price is Right," "The New Treasure Hunt," "The Dating Game," and my all-time favourite, "Let's Make a Deal." The thing these shows had in common besides the fabulous music and sets, were they were hosted by the worlds greatest game show hosts. Bob Barker and Monty Hall were Idols for me. I then came to the conclusion that my ambition in life was to become a TV game show host. However, my love of music kept me straying from the world of tele-visual glamour. A few years ago, after growing tired of the plastic city called Hollywood, I packed my bags and headed off to London were my heart was calling. Upon arrival, I hooked up with some amazing people, and the Gentle People were born. I 've come to the conclusion that the next best thing to being a game show host, is to be a pop-star. Maybe I can branch out into the game show thing when I get older. For now, I'm very happy as a Gentle Person.

I enjoy all types of music, depending on my many changing moods. Sometimes I like to listen to maniacal electronic noise, other times I like to be lulled by soothing strings. I love modern ambient music and drum and bass, but my main love of course is easy listening. Within this category, my favorite type of relaxation music is light latin and bossa nova. I also enjoy vocal groups and any type of music that has a big studio production type of sound. Some of my old faves include Liz Damon, Pierre Henry, Enoch Light, Hank Mancini, and many others.
